RETROSPEKT GUY DEBORD

Before being a director or a writer, Guy Debord was a revolutionary strategist. One who understood and promoted rebellion as a cure against power. For this reason, he used the cinema: so that it is the images -those in which the man/animal is interested when he goes to the theater- that communicate his ideas and his thoughts. Here we review those six manifestos (3 feature films and 3 short films), among which is "The society of the spectacle" (1973), his masterpiece.
