Latin America  and Europe

With a view to the development of co-productions between Latin America and Central and Eastern Europe, the laboratory proposes a space for work, training and development for film projects in Peru and the region, in order to potentiar_cc781905-5cde -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ opportunities through establishment of links with funds and potential European co-producers.

To do this, the laboratory brings together a panel of local and international professionals from the fields of direction, production, distribution and financing, focused on international co-production.

In this second edition, the laboratory will select 6 projects.

Aneta Zagorska

Poland

Since 2003 he has directed the Barton Film production studio. Since 2012, he has chaired the Cracow Film Society, whose goal is the making of ambitious art documentaries and the establishment of film collaborations related to organizations and creators.

She is the general director of the Krakow Film Cluster, which she co-established in 2015. As a producer and executive producer, she made several feature films and documentary films.

Cosima Finkbeiner

Germany

Graduated in Communication Sciences in England in 2009, where she also co-directed an auteur film and worked on various editions of the Cambridge Film Festival. She did a master's degree in Media Culture in the Netherlands, after that she briefly worked for German Films, an organization focused on promoting German films abroad. In 2012, after traveling around South America for nine months, he joined the renowned Munich-based sales and co-financing company, Beta Cinema, which represents feature films that combine commercial viability with artistic integrity. These movies include Oscar winners/blockbusters like THE LIVES OF OTHERS, IL DIVO or DOWNFALL. Recent hits include Netflix hit CALIBER, Benedikt Erlingsson's enchanting WOMAN AT WAR, Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck's NEVER LOOK AWAY, two-time Oscar nominee and 2019 Berlinale winner SYSTEM CRASHER._cc781905-5cde-3194- bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

Juan Manuel Dartizio

Argentina

He is a writer and screenwriter for film and television, specializing in scriptwriting at the International Film and TV School of San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. Between 2019 and 2020 he wrote “Un Extraño Enemigo”, season 2, together with Gabriel Ripstein, while coordinating the script development of various series. In 2017 he wrote the short film “Caída Libre”, as part of the anthology of short films Bastidores. In 2015 he wrote the script for the documentary “Iceberg”, premiered at IDFA and awarded as best short film at the festivals of Freiburg, Rio de Janeiro and Trinidad and Togabo. The series “Cumbia Nena” (2016) won at the Rio Web Fest and was selected for the NYC Web Fest. His feature film script “The Pros and Cons of Fingering” (2014) was selected for LATC. The short films “Roll Out” (2014) and “Las Cosas Buenas” (2013) that he wrote participated in various international festivals. He currently resides in Mexico, is a jury and script advisor at IMCINE, and content manager at Viacom International Studios, while writing his next series project “El Tigre del Arrecife”, a Latin American sci-fi.

Esme Jofre Diaz

Chili

With more than 10 years of experience in film production at a national and international level. Graduated in 2010-2013 from the Production Specialty of the 22nd generation of the Film and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. In 2014 she was awarded a scholarship by Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP) Canada to study research
Gender in Film Studies at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema Concordia University.
She has been awarded a scholarship by the Mexican Agency for International Cooperation for Development Alliance of the Pacific, to do her artistic residence and contribute in academic matters in different universities in Mexico.
He has specialized in making short film projects, training new filmmakers in Mexico and Latin America.

Since 2015 she has been a Production Teacher at the National School of Cinematographic Arts (ENAC) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She has participated as an evaluator in different instances of national and international festivals and in incentive programs in Mexico.

He currently directs the company NETLAB FILMS where they develop projects in Mexico, Chile and Canada.

Filmmaker-Producer of Mexican nationality, with extensive experience in international co-productions. Member of the Academy (AMPAS). In 2003 he created MartFilms, a production company focused on social issues, currently making impact film strategies. His productions have been awarded at festivals such as Cannes, IDFA, among others. For 4 years he directed the chair of production at EICTV. Also coordinates the documentary area at CCC. She is a consultant for production and development of projects internationally. Co writes the BASIC MANUAL OF CINEMATOGRAPHIC PRODUCTION. Promoted by MEDIA MUNDUS, she specializes in documentary marketing and distribution at MFBS Lubeck-Germany.” and the EURODOC (Programme for European documentary professionals) in Croatia, France and Budapest.

Degree in Cinema (UNC), graduated from the EICTV and the Javeriana University of Colombia. He has seven years in the entertainment industry creating and producing content. Co-creator and producer of the series El Retiro Perfecto (Sun Channel Television),  Improvisando (UN3TV) and Planeta Ross (Gato Grande). Line producer on The man of his word by Wim Wenders. In 2016, she joined EL CALEFÓN, as head of development for television. In 2019, he carried out the executive production of ZAHORÍ, a Swiss-France-Chile co-production. She is currently the VP of the Córdoba Producers Association (APAC).
