FESTIVAL AL ​​ESTE ANNOUNCES EXTRAORDINARY GUESTS IN ITS XI EDITION, AND MORE THAN 60 SCREENINGS

The Polish animated fiction KILL IT AND LEAVE THIS TOWN by Mariusz Wilczyński, and the Ukrainian documentary THE EARTH IS BLUE LIKE AN ORANGE by Iryna Tsilyk both won the Jaguar EAST for the best film of the XI Edition.

A large part of the titles that were presented at the XI edition of the Festival will be available in the BEST OF THE EAST, through the ELEKRAN.COM platform in online format, until October 31. In this way you can enjoy the award-winning films, as well as the various experimental, documentary and author sections. Those who bought their subscription during the Festival will have the opportunity to continue accessing the films, as well as new users who want to purchase their ticket for only 29 soles. You only have to create an account in EL EKRAN, to see several of these titles for free, and others for a fee.

 

The new digital platform elekran.com, developed by Soda Films, was created to present the more than 60 titles of Festival Al Este, and will be an alternative to present other national and international festivals, as well as various activities digitally. The global pandemic has changed the way events are presented around the world, and in the future, in addition to showings in movie theaters, the public will have the possibility to watch many other digital events from the comfort of their home.

 

The different titles will be available according to an availability schedule, on the platform. To access “Lo Mejor de Al Este” you can buy tickets of 29 soles for general, and 20 soles for students. Subscription is free, and can be done through elekran.com
