Synopsis

Poland, 1962. Anna, an orphaned novice raised by nuns in a convent, has to see her only living relative, Wanda, before taking her vows. In an intense conversation, Anna learns that she is Jewish and discovers several facts that tell her who she really is and where she belongs. She and Wanda question their religions and try to live with it, but only one of them can do it.
