She have  been part in different theater plays, classic and contemporary, as a leading character.

“A shelter among the clouds” by Robert Budina is her first feature film,  that opens the doors for other films such as “The flying circus” by Fatos Berisha and “Bad” by Faton Bajraktari.

Ivan Tverdovsky

Ivan I. Tverdovsky was born in 1988, in Moscow. In 2011 I graduated from Moscow's Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK).

 

His documentaries have earned honours at Russian and international festivals, among them short As  if  waiting  for a bus  (2009), Pianism  (2012), and short Space dog_cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ (2013). Correction calss  (2014), inspired by the novel of the same name by psychologist Ekaterina Murashova, is his feature debut, followed by Zoology_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_ (2016), Special Jury Prize at the Karlovy Vary IFF.

 

His most recent feature film, JUMPMAN, screened in competition at Karlovy Vary IFF 2018 has won the Special Jury Prize.

Natasha Merkulova

She is a Russian film director and screenwriter. His film The Man Who Surprised Everyone in 2018 is presented at the 16th week of the new Russian cinema in Paris in November 2018 and won the same month the Grand Prix of the Russian Film Festival in Honfleur 2018; he was also selected for the Horizons section (Orizzonti) of the 7th Venice International Film Festival.


She is known for Intimate Places (2013, co-directed with Aleksey Chupov) selected for the Kinotavr Film Festival where she won the Best First Film Award.

In 2010, she completed a specialization at the Superior Training Courses for Writers and Directors in Moscow. She made her directorial debut with the short film La Fille (in 2009) and participated in the presentation of student films The New Russians at the Cannes Film Festival. Then Kletka documentary about children in the Irkutsk region suffering from the AIDS virus.

Alexei Chupov

He is a Russian filmmaker, director and screenwriter who directed The Man Who Surprised Everyone with Natalia Merkulova.

In 1995, Alexei Tchupov graduated from the Moscow State University Mr. V. Lomonosov, at the Faculty of Journalism, specializing in television journalism. In 1992, I studied the history of world cinema at the University of Wake Forest in North Carolina, United States.

In 2013, he released his first feature film Intimate Places, of which he is a screenwriter and director with Natalia Merkoulova. At the Kinotavr festival, the two directors receive the prize for best first film and the special diploma of the Guild of Russian film critics. Actress Youlia Aoug receives, for her role in this film, the prize for the best female role. This film is still awarded the Jury Prize at the Talin Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia.
